Campground Rules
Effective 4/1/12
Any violation of campground rules will be cause for ejection from campground and/or storage area immediately, any time – day or night – with forfeiture of all fees. It is the responsibility of all persons on the property to know and understand these rules. Payment is expected before you settle into campsite. Failure to do so will result in double fees – per transaction.
Office Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Check in: 11:00 AM
Check out: 11:00 AM
$10 per day fee for late check out
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Quiet hours are strictly enforced.
Speed Limit: 10 MPH throughout the park. Vehicles must remain on the designated roadways at all times. Do not drive or camp on the grass. Exceptions are made for tents in primitive camping sites.
Generators: No generators allowed
If you park in electric you will pay for electric or you will be asked to move. No exceptions!
Fires: Fires must be confined to designated fire pit areas. Drought conditions may make it necessary to limit cooking and lighting to propane only. i.e. you must be able to turn off the fuel source. If restrictions apply there will be signs in the office.
Pets: No aggressive pets. All owners are responsible for their pets. No unattended animals. Barking dog owners will be told to leave.
Picnic tables are for electric sites only
Sewer: No dumping of holding tank waste on the ground – use dump station at rear of store. There is a fee for use of dump station unless you stay four consecutive nights. Please see office for access and payment. There will be a fee charged if your holding tank leaks onto the campsite.
Music: May be played loud enough to hear it but not offend others. If management needs to be involved the music will stop.
Trash: In order to keep costs down, all trash must be placed in trash cans placed throughout the campground. There is a trash trailer east of the store/office for any bags larger than a tall kitchen bag.
Headlights: Turn off headlights when in campground.
Vehicles: Only one power assisted item per site. Additional units beyond tow vehicle, boat and camper will be charged a daily fee of $10.00. Second camp site required for more than one additional vehicle.
Guest/day pass needed for those who join you on your site during the day. $10 per guest vehicle per day or any part of day. i.e. 15 minutes or 24 hours
No refunds on camping or lodging for any reason.
No extension cords entering tents and/or vehicles in campground.
Any person caught vandalizing the outhouse, campgrounds or any areas connected to this camping facility or the store will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
You are liable for yourself/group/children/pets.
Chaparral Park General Store is not responsible for loss, accident and/or negligence.
